Terms of use
Last updated: July 2026. These terms apply to the NewHair website and related care services offered in India.
1. Who we are
NewHair provides AI-assisted hair screening tools, educational content, and pathways to doctor-led care and pharmacy fulfilment where legally permitted. We are not a substitute for emergency medical care.
2. Screening is not a diagnosis
The free hair check and any automated report are screening estimates, not medical diagnoses. A registered dermatologist reviews clinical decisions. Do not start, stop, or change prescription medicines without a qualified clinician.
3. Account & phone identity
Phone number is the primary identity for your account. You are responsible for the accuracy of details you provide and for keeping OTP codes confidential.
4. Prescriptions & pharmacy
Schedule H / H1 items ship only after a valid prescription and pharmacy checks. Orders with Rx lines may be held, modified, or cancelled after doctor review. OTC care may ship subject to stock and payment confirmation.
5. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the platform (fraud, abuse of OTP, reverse-engineering for harm, or uploading unlawful content). We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or applicable law.
6. Privacy
Personal data handling is described under Privacy (DPDP) and our compliance notes. Care data is processed for your treatment journey and related legal duties.
